python-stfio software package provides Python module to read common electrophysiology file formats., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-stfio
python-stfio is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-stfio package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-stfio *
You will get with python-stfio package name, version, architecture and description in a table
